Whale season usually runs from May to October.  See them from the lighthouse or go out on the Kayaks with Cape Byron Kayaks and see them and the dolphins up close.

Be the first to catch the sunrise.  See spectacular Byron and the hinterland from above followed by a champagne breakfast.  Check out Byron Bay Ballooning for more details.

We are blessed with stunning waterfalls all around us.  Visit Minyon Falls and Killen Falls both within an hours drive.  These natural sights are a fun adventure.

Private or group lessons are available - whatever you skill level. We've got some of the best surfing beaches in Australia - here's the place to learn.

Walk up along the ocean track and back down through the rainforest. You'll see the endless stretch of beach both ways, friendly wildlife and the Lighthouse. It’s a bit of a workout but you will love it.   A must do while you are here and you will reach Australia's most easterly point.

The Markets are a must as it is the essence of this area with music, food, artisan products and great vibes.
